TALIAH

COLLINS

Taliah began dancing at the age of seven. Little did she know that tagging along to her best friends ballet class one day would change her life. As a child Taliah was extremely shy and dance ignited another side of her personality and really helped her gain confidence. Taliah fell in love with all aspects of dance but particularly contemporary and the expressive side of dance.

Taliah has completed four years of full time pre professional training with EnPointe Dance Centre on the Sunshine Coast, and currently trains with Queensland College of Dance Brisbane and under private mentorship by Dancelab artistic director Michelle Bucci.

Taliah teaches ballet, lyrical and contemporary for several dance studios on the Sunshine Coast as is looking forward to working with some professional contemporary dance companies in 2021 via secondment opportunities.

Taliah was accepted into the Dutch National Ballet summer program, and previously attended The Royal Ballet spring school and The Bolshoi Ballet summer intensive held in Brisbane.
